Having built a record of success in Europe, EFD will significantly increase its reach and impact through the following strategic efforts:
Maintaining an ongoing effort to support and protect universal human rights, freedom of conscience, individual liberty and pluralism of peaceful ideas;
Empowering European-based Muslim and Arab reformers and liberal democrats by ensuring that they, together with EFD fellows, are able to express their views at conferences, media events and elite universities;
Building broad coalitions with transnational organisations that focus on the protection of universal values and human rights; and
Ceaselessly supporting through discourse, action, and leadership: democracy and freedom, universal human rights; rule of law; gender equality; security, stability, and most of all, peace.
