Guest speakers will include Kamal Labwani, one of the highest profile political prisoners in Syria for many years and a declared prisoner of conscience by Amnesty International, released in November 2011, and Wissam Tarif from the campaigning organisation Avaaz. They are both working closely with groups and individuals within Syria and have first-hand knowledge of the latest developments from the various Syrian opposition groups. You would be welcome to join diplomats, MEPs, officials and NGO representatives at the discussion.
